Freebie #3 | La Roche-Posay

Hi, The other day I received a free sample through the post. As is always the case when applying for postal samples they take a while to come and that's if you're one of the lucky ones who gets the sample in the first place. For this reason I can no longer find the link for this particular sample but La Roche-Posay currently have a sample of the Anthelios sun cream available you can apply here.

The product sample is the Effaclar Duo [+] I didn't realize when I applied it was for two 3ml sample tubes of product so that is a nice bonus and I'll probably pass the other tube on for someone else to try. I have wanted to try this product for a while, I don't get the ridiculous spots I got in my teens anymore but I was interested from the prevention aspect that the product sells it's self on. It is one of those products that seems to have a lot of blogger hype and a lot of good reviews. The high price tag has put me off so far as I wasn't sure I wanted to risk the money. Samples are great for this reason and maybe if I'm impressed I may even be tempted to go buy a full sized tube. The sample also came with a £5 off voucher so it's even more tempting.

Freebie #2 | Pukka Tea Sample

Hi, This week I received a free sample pack of Pukka tea through the post. I don't drink normal tea or coffee so alternatives are always high on my list of things to try. If you would like your own sample pack apply here while you can. I applied for the sample weeks ago, postal samples can take up to a month to arrive, if they ever do, by which point I've totally forgotten what I applied for. This makes product samples like this a real treat. I especially like free tea samples as it's a great way to try different kinds without having to make the commitment to a whole box of a flavour you might not like. In the past I've had samples for a single tea bag which is good but this sample pack is amazing as it contains five totally different tea flavours to try.

The pack contains:

• Peppermint and Licorice - A sweet and deliciously refreshing organic thrill.
• Detox - A clean fusion of organic aniseed, fennel and cardamon.
• Three Mint - A verdant fusion of organic Peppermint, Spearmint and Fieldmint.
• Lemon, Ginger and Manuka honey - A welcome cup of spicy-sweet organic bliss. 
• Pukka Supreme Matcha green - A vital wellspring of organic whole leaf green tea and the finest Matcha.

The packaging of this sample is really pretty and such an exciting thing to pop through the door. I can't wait to try the selection of flavours, I will try to do a review. I think I'm most looking forward to trying the Peppermint and Liquorice as it's so different from anything I've tried before. I am really impressed by this sample pack and I might just have to go and purchase a whole box of my favorite from the bunch.

Freebie #1 | L'Occitane a little sunshine from provence

Hi, I've got a freebie I want to share with you today. The other day I got an email which instantly had my attention, it was an invitation to try some L'Occitane products totally free. I filled out the required details, got an email voucher and went and collected my little box of treats from L'Occitane, you can claim one by applying here, the offer is on until May 31st or while stocks last. The only catch is you have to pick it up from a boutique store, department stores are not included. This is kind of a post about how you don't have to wait around for people to sent you samples, you can look for them yourself and sometimes like this one they are really good.

On arrival to the store we where welcomed and offered a cup of liquorish tea to drink while we browsed. The free samples came beautifully packaged in a little box which contained 5 miniature products, a £10 off voucher when you spend £25, a lavender planting paper and information on the history of Provence. The free sample was lovingly packaged up in a store bag with tissue paper and a spritz of perfume, even though it was a free sample we still got the full L'Occitane customer service.

• Verveine Verbena body lotion 30ml
• Verveine Verbena shower gel 30ml
• Almond Milk hand cream 10ml
• Shea Butter foot cream 10ml
• Verbena Leaf soap 25g

I believe that the hand creams are different in every box based on stock levels in store. This is one of the best freebies I have got to date and I can't wait to try them out. They are the perfect size for keeping for travel essentials. I've already tried the hand cream and would highly recommend it.
